   Find the "Hamburger/Layer Practice" assignment in Schoology and download the elements. We will do an in class tutorial to get aquainted with the layer panel.

A flat lay is a type of photography where a number of objects are arranged on a surface and photographed from above. The result is a bird's-eye view of the objects, which are often arranged in an aesthetically pleasing way

Here are a few examples:

• Open up your book bag, makeup bag, or purse. (Whatever you have with you.)

• Set your camera to auto mode

• Use a floorboard and lay out some of your belongings in an aesthetically pleasing way.

• Shoot bird's eye view (down) onto your flat lay.
