2. What's In Your Bag?
What's a flat lay?
A flat lay is a type of photography where a number of objects are arranged on a surface and photographed from above. The result is a bird's-eye view of the objects, which are often arranged in an aesthetically pleasing way
Here are a few examples:
Open up your book bag, makeup bag, or purse. (Whatever you have with you.)
Set your camera to auto mode
Use a floorboard and lay out some of your belongings in an aesthetically pleasing way.
Shoot bird's eye view (down) onto your flat lay.
