Writer's picture: Nicole PollardNicole Pollard

Learning Objectives: A2.8 Plan and create artistic products that reflect complex ideas, such as distortion, color theory, arbitrary color, scale, expressive content, and real versus virtual.

A2.2 Demonstrate personal style and advanced proficiency in communicating an idea, theme, or emotion in an industry-relevant artistic product.

A2.7 Create original works of art of increasing complexity and skill in a variety of media that reflect their feelings and points of view.

Today we'll be doing a photo challenge based on your phobias! You'll want to work in pairs and help each other to take photographs, but you'll be editing on your own. You may shoot outside, or you may shoot indoors. The most important thing to remember is to be creative with your shot because you're only submitting one.

Step 1: Choose your phobia.

Step 2: Plan out your shot! Please do not just spray and pray with the camera. Consider background, angle, if you'll use generative fill, or if you'll be using a png from vecteezy and pngaaa.

Step 3: Shoot! Please be quiet when working outdoors or in the halls.

Step 4: Return to edit. Please remember to use your adjustment layer, blend mode, and clipping mask when needed.

Step 5: Submit on Schoology. The winner will be chosen by Martin and receive candy.
