CTE Standards:
A2.6 — “Create an artistic product that involves the effective use of the elements of art and the principles of design.” A floating-food composite counts as an artistic product. California Department of Education+1
A2.8 — “Plan and create artistic products that reflect complex ideas, such as distortion, color theory, arbitrary color, scale, expressive content, and real versus virtual.” The “floating food” concept plays with reality vs virtual — that's right in the realm of distortion/virtual vs real, which this standard explicitly mentions. California Department of Education+1
A2.9 — “Create a multimedia work of art that demonstrates knowledge of media and technology skills.” If you're using digital tools like Photoshop (or other software) to build the composite, that is media + technology. California Department of Education+1
Your Website/Hallmark Movie Poster
Add to your website! (Canva, Google Site, or Wix) Submit a link to your website in the assignment in Schoology. Your website is an on going work in progress, so it will not be finished but it should have a clear structure with an About Me page, and pages organized by category. If you finish that, head to your Hallmark Movie Poster assignment and turn that in if you have not already.
