Learning Objective:

A2.1 Demonstrate skill in the manipulation of digital imagery (either still or video) in an industry-relevant application.

  1. Principle of Design/Unity

Unity is an important principle in design, as it refers to the visual harmony and coherence of a composition. When a design is unified, all of its elements work together to create a cohesive whole. This can be achieved through the use of repetition, alignment, proximity, and other design techniques.

One way to create unity in a design is through the use of a consistent color scheme or typography throughout the piece. When all of the colors or fonts are related in some way, the design feels more cohesive and harmonious. Another way to achieve unity is through the use of repetition, such as repeating a pattern or shape throughout the design.
