2. Fill The Frame & Cropping-

3. Collage Project With Food Mode

Shooting Tips

  • Change the color tone.

You can change [Color tone]. To increase the food’s reddish tinge, set it toward [Warm]. Set it toward [Cool] if it looks too red.

  • Avoid using flash.

If you use flash, the light may reflect off the dish or food and results in unnatural shadows. By default, (Built-in flash off) is set. Try to prevent camera shake when shooting in low-light conditions

  • Since this mode lets you shoot the food in appetizing color tones, human subjects may be shot in an unsuitable skin tone.

Using your food mode on the Canon camera, explore the school and shoot 8 objects for each of the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple/violet, brown, black. You can also include images you've shot elsewhere from your phone. Be sure to shoot objects that are interesting, and apply the composition technique- FILL THE FRAME!

This is due FRIDAY, Sept. 30th in Schoology under Project #3.

4. Collage Practice

Submit your collage created in class to "Practice Collage" in Schoology
