Sept. 25th- Double Exposure

  1. Independent Movement Edit

Photoshop allows for the depiction of movement in images by utilizing motion blur effects, which create the illusion of speed and dynamism by blurring the background or subject. Layer masking and smudge tools can also be employed to give a sense of directional flow, enhancing the feeling of motion. Additionally, the warp and transform tools can distort objects in a way that mimics the natural curves and arcs of real-life movement.

We've already created movement with your pixel stretch by utilizing the marquee tool and the warp feature. Today, we'll be creating movement with the blur feature.

  • Independent Edit:

  • Open up the image of the man jumping in Photoshop

  • Choose select subject from the contextual task bar

  • Invert that selection

  • Go to Filter<Blur<Motion Blur

  • Adjust it to show movement and blur

  • Flatten

  • File<Save A Copy<Movelastname.jpg
