Vintage Postcard
Please take the first 20-30 minutes of class to finish your vintage postcard. Here are a few examples from your classmates in period 3.

2. Creating Movement With A Slow Shutterspeed
Since we're stuck in the MPR, we will take advantage of the space and use a tripod with our light sabers for some light painting.
Using a slow shutter speed in photography can create dynamic and captivating images, particularly in the art of light painting. By keeping the camera's shutter open for an extended period, typically several seconds or longer, any light source moved within the frame will be captured as a continuous streak or trail. This technique allows photographers to "paint" with light, crafting intricate patterns, shapes, and even writing words in mid-air. The result is a mesmerizing blend of motion and light that transforms an ordinary scene into a vivid and imaginative work of art.
Get into groups of 3 and share one camera and one tripod. Use the light sticks provided and experiment with light painting behind the curtain of the stage.
