3. Blog Post #1- Flat Lay

Locate your blog and post your first blog post! Upload your flat lay picture and write a brief description of your image.

Your blog post should be AT LEAST five sentences. You should incorporate the following comments into your blog post.

  • How did you go about composing your image?

  • Why did you choose the objects you settled on?

  • What challenges did you face when trying to complete this assignment?

  • If you did it again, what would you do differently?

Go into Schoology and upload the link to your first blog post to the assignment entitled "Blog Post #1- Flat Lay" and submit.

4. Intro to Shutter-speed & Sports Mode

The Essence:

  • The amount of time your shutter is open is called shutter speed.

  • Shutter speed dictates whether your images will be sharp or blurred.

  • Slow shutter speed is one in which the shutter is open for a longer period of time

  • Fast shutter speed is when the shutter is open for a short period of time

Sports mode is designed to shoot objects in motion without blur because it has a fast shutter-speed.

We will set our cameras on continuous shooting and sports mode when we head outside. You will need to take and submit 5 images to Schoology today of action shots that demonstrate a quick shutter-speed.
