3. Shooting on TV Mode/Shutter Priority

When we shoot in TV Mode, or shutter priority mode, we control the shutter speed! The camera controls the aperture (the lens opening and depth of field) to make sure there is enough light and your image is properly exposed.

How do we shoot in TV Mode?

1 Set the Mode Dial to <Tv>.

Head outside with a partner. Your partner will be doing jumping jacks. You'll shoot your partner with every other shutter-speed setting the same way we did in AV mode. Come back to class and place your pictures in a collage in Pixlr to show the difference in shutter-speeds.
