Feb. 19th- Miniature Photography

  1. Panning Exercise/Period 3

    Period 3 will perform the panning exercise on the curb outside of NAHS.

  2. Period 2/Photo Walk


    Walk to each photo. Answer the question on the worksheet for each of the 10 photographs displayed around the room.

  1. Miniature Experiment Time!

    • Take a miniature person(s), a tripod, and a camera. (I'd suggest a 50mm, but you do you.)

    • Keep your fstop large, around 11 or higher. This means your aperture will be small and everything you capture will be in focus. You can shoot on manual, OR AV mode. Remember AV mode allows you to control the aperture.

    • Choose a prop(s) and lightbox to work at.

    • Create multiple images using the props. You can also go outside if you'd like to shoot in natural light. Remember to use ordinary objects creatively.

    • Submit three practice photos to Schoology of DIFFERENT narratives and objects.
