  2. Grinch Yourself

    Today you'll be turning a photo of yourself into the Grinch!


    Open up the psd "Grinch" in Photoshop. Remember that PSD is the file type for a Photoshop image that is NOT flattened.

    Go to File<Place Embed and choose the black and white photograph you took of yourself outside.

    Move the black and white image layer underneath your grinch layer and adjust it so your eyebrows do NOT show.

    On your black and white layer, apply an adjustment layer for solid color. Use the eye dropper to draw color from the green on the Grinche's fur.

    Choose the blend mode, Vivid Light, then lower the opacity until the layer of your face blends well with the fur.

    Using the text tool, add your name and your "holiday crime." A few examples are:

    • "Grand Theft Gingerbread"

    • "Tinsel Hoarding"
