2. Shooting Practice

I'm noticing a lot of images being turned in that are not entirely in focus or as sharp as I'd like them to be. So we'll be practicing how to take crisp images of a moving object today.

  • Partner up. You only need ONE camera!

  • One partner will stay on the second floor landing

  • The other partner will go down to the first floor

  • The person on the first floor will have the camera. The partner on the second floor will have a parachute man. That she/he will drop three times!

  • The partner on the bottom floor will have three chances to capture one, very sharp and in focus photo of the parachuter. Adjust your settings as needed.

  • You will then swap jobs. EACH person needs to have a chance to take three photos.

  • Come back to class and open up a three frame collage in PIXLR. Your collage MUST BE LABELED with the information found on your LCD monitor like this:

3. Bottle Flipping

  • Partner up. You only need ONE camera!

  • One person will bottle flip.

  • The other partner will attempt to take three sharp images of the bottle, mid-air. Adjust your settings as needed.

  • You will then swap jobs. EACH person needs to have a chance to take three photos of the bottle.

  • Come back to class and complete another collage for your bottle flipping shoot. Be sure to label the collage with the settings used for each photo.

YOU'LL TURN IN TWO COLLAGES TO SCHOOLOGY UNDER THE ASSIGNMENT CALLED "SHARP SHOOTING"
